Come make delicious things with us!We are a small specialty coffee shop and bakery with one store in East Harlem and onestore near Columbia, andwe're looking for someone to make donuts and more at our shop.We're passionate about coffee and food and about serving our neighborhood with thebest products and service that we can. We pride ourselves on making some of the mostdelicious things in New York City (we have been featured in the Infatuation, NY Times, Eater, Food+ Wine, Martha Stewart, Oprah, Serious Eats, and many others) and are looking forsomeone great to join our team.You are a hard worker who loves to make other people happy, loves to make food, andis good with your hands. You work well with others, are self-motivated, and kind.What you'll doYou will learn to prepare all of our donuts from start to finish - making the doughs, making the glazes, etc. You'll alsomake cinnamon rolls, biscuits, hand pies, and some other stuff.16-25hours per week (2-3 days per week). Shifts are roughly 5:00a-130p.Duties and responsibilities You will learn to make the items mentioned above and possibly more; Fulfill orders; Keep pastry rack filled with pastries; Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, walls, and equipment - always inspection ready; Manage ingredient inventory and ordering; Perform other related duties as assigned by management. To succeed here, you need to: be reliable have a positive, inquisitive, proactive attitude, and a desire to work hard be thoughtful and deliberate about the decisions you make in the kitchen
